Delete your RetuVPN account
Deleting your account removes it, its devices, passes and daily usage totals. It can't be undone.
This page is for accounts in the RetuVPN apps published by Verolant LLC.
Deleting your account cancels a subscription you pay by card. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled in your store account.
In the app
Open Settings, then Account, then Delete account.
Without your code
We delete an account only after confirming it's yours. A receipt or order number helps us find your purchase, but on its own it never authorises deletion.
- Paid by card, through Stripe: email [email protected] with your Stripe receipt number. We send a confirmation link to the email address on that receipt and delete the account when you open it. We complete these requests within 7 days.
- Paid through the App Store or Google Play: install RetuVPN on a device signed in to the Apple or Google account you paid with and choose Restore purchases. Apple or Google confirms you're the buyer, and the app then offers to delete the account the subscription came from.
Support follows the same checks. We can't delete an account on the strength of an email alone.
If you have neither the code nor a purchase, we can't tell which account is yours. Accounts with no active subscription and no device activity for 12 months are deleted automatically.
What happens to your subscription
Deleting your account cancels a card subscription through Stripe straight away, and you won't be charged again. Any paid time left ends with the account. If you were charged in the last 14 days, you can still get a refund: email [email protected] with your receipt number.
App Store and Google Play subscriptions keep renewing until you cancel them in your store account.
What stays after deletion
For paid accounts, billing records stay for as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to 7 years. They show that a payment was made, not how the account was used. See section 13 of our privacy policy.
