Acceptable use policy

RetuVPN is for private, lawful use. These rules apply on every plan and are part of our terms of service.

Last updated 23 October 2026

What you may not do

You may not use RetuVPN to:

  • break the law where you are or where your traffic goes;
  • attack, scan or probe systems you don't own or have permission to test, including denial-of-service attacks;
  • send spam or other unsolicited bulk messages;
  • spread malware or control a botnet;
  • create, share or access child sexual abuse material;
  • commit fraud, including card fraud and taking over other people's accounts;
  • harass, threaten or stalk anyone;
  • share copyrighted material you have no right to share;
  • resell access, share an account beyond its device limit, or get around plan limits or our security.

How we enforce it

We don't watch what individual users do, and we can't link traffic to an account. We enforce this policy on the network instead:

  • outbound email on port 25 is blocked on every server;
  • exit servers rate-limit traffic patterns typical of attacks and mass scanning;
  • we block destinations from our servers when we receive credible reports of abuse.

Breaches we can link to an account, such as reselling or going past the device limit, lead to suspension or closure under our terms.

Reporting abuse

If traffic from one of our IP addresses is causing you a problem, email [email protected] with:

  • the IP address;
  • the date and time, with the time zone;
  • what happened, with logs if you have them.

We reply within one business day. We can block a destination or tighten limits on a server. We can't tell you who the user was, because we don't have that information.

RetuVPN carries traffic and doesn't host content. Send copyright notices to [email protected] and we'll act on them at the network level as described above.

VPN laws in your country

Some countries restrict or ban VPNs. You are responsible for knowing and following the law where you are. We offer our apps only in the app store regions where we may lawfully distribute them.
